Queen Fabiola, Princess Mathilde, and Princess Claire voted in Belgium's Federal Election Day, 13 June.
Belgian royals vote! Who knew? Not only do they vote, they turned out in force today for Belgium's election day. And it's no wonder, talk of splitting the country up has been running high, and it's got to have them contemplating their future. So it's extra important to hit that regal-yet-casual look just right, the one that says "I'm a Princess and I'm just like you, only not really." You know the one I'm talking about, right?
Let's see how they did.....
Mathilde: Nicely played. The shawl could have ventured into the Land of Dishevelment, but you saved it with excellent trousers and smart shoes.
Queen Fabiola: Fab indeed. Another royal stuck in a time warp, only this time it's adorable. I can't even tell you how much I was hoping those were white boots, Saturday Night Fever style, but sadly they are not. It's just pant legs playing tricks with my emotions - they're plain old pumps.
Claire: Funny how such tiny jeans could wreak such havoc. A sad fail in the regal department for once triumphant bride.
