It looks as though it's here for a few weeks! Cheers to Steve Bratt for the view of Macon Meadows that was under water a few weeks back but is now freezing over (above), plus a view from Platform 5 at Crewe Station courtesy of Wayne Williams. Elsewhere, I was tempted to take a few snaps on the mobile this morning (6.30am) and this evening (around 5.15pm) along Minshull New Road. If you didn't know, there's been a serious pipe fracture and water has been gushing out and, surprise surprise, freezing over. So it's particularly dangerous. Anyway, there are "Road Closed" signs at several points along the road from the Leighton Hospital roundabout to the COOP roundabout near Bentley Motors. There are additional signs a few yards further down for those who choose to ignore the first ones. So it's quite amusing watching the stupid motorists who think they'll have a go anyway, as the signs are probably just a warning. Sadly, they are not. Take notice of the signs you Muppets! I'm afraid that's about it for the blog, so no more photos please. The last couple of items have now been scheduled. As the post further down says, there will be an occasional photo added when I'm out and about, but not a lot more over the next 12 months. Enjoy your Christmas celebrations and have a cracking New Year. Oh, and do take notice of road signs during this cold snap. Bye for now...
