Wonderful Woolies

I was hunting the Marketplace for a great outfit that will be appropriate for any venue in Second Life, regardless of the maturity rating, and came across this wonderful ensemble made by Mimi's Boutique. You will not believe the quality of this outfit and you will be blown away at the price. More on the price in a bit, let's review the outfit.

You get this totally trendy sweater jacket with an artfully applied diagonal button closure, pocket and billowy a neck roll. The belt cinches it all in and it's all layered over a knuckle-length shirt. You can't wear the under shirt piece alone, unfortunately but you can wear the jacket without it. The jeans are tight-fitting skinies and made with nice seams and stitching. Light on the wearing and not too low.

 

The boots are found in your Linden Library ... yes that's right, these are Linden Library FREEBIES!!  You can find them in the  Library > Clothing > Initial Outfits > Female Student Outfit.  If you haven't investigated the new Linden default outfits recently, you should have a peek and see what's there!

Snugglie Plaid

I'm new to the fashion blogs and very excited about this endeavor.  I'll be blogging about the neat little finds I pick up to give you all quality fashion options on a shoe-string budget with the goal of discovering great pieces or complete outfits under the $200L mark.  Follow me if you want to be kept updated on all these finds.

My first find is this super cute ensemble from Urban Warehouse.

With this ensemble you get a complete outfit which consists of a turtle neck, jacket, jeans and uggie boots.


The quality of this outfit is fantastic for a shoe-string budget find.  Textures made without loss and blurr, detailed back pockets on the jeans and seams which blend nicely together.

The jacket isn't a removable piece, you really do have to wear it with the under layer for the turtle neck as it's a 'mock' neck and the turtleneck sweater is combined with the jacket layer.

The jeans look great on their own and will be a nice addition to anyones closet.  They sit low but not super low and the cuffs are a 'skinny' fit which will go well with any flats or stilettos.


You can wear the jeans with cuffs which are included and your favorite shoes as well for a different option.
