Batak Karo Wedding Dress

Batak Karo brides wears a red blouse-dress with Bura Sidiberu necklace and a unique Tapak Sulaiman ring. For lower dress, the brides wears Gatip dan Uis Nipis (a traditional fabric of Batak Karo tribe). 

The Bride-grooms wears a suit of coat and white shirt for the main dress. And for the complement are  Bura Sidilaki necklace, Sidilaki wristband, Uis and  Gatip (a sarong that sets on waist) in same motif with the brides.

This wedding dress wears before marriage-settlement.  The bride wears a long dress mixed  with  songket  fabric from Palembang, Padang, or Medan. The groom wears a long sleeve shirt with a coat outside for upper dress and sarong for lower dress.

Sunda Siger Wedding Dress

Sunda Siger Wedding Dress is similar with Sunda Putri Wedding Dress. The difference is in the color of  upper clothes. The bride wears a long golden kebaya with a pair of Kelat Bahu on her arms and completed with a beautiful crown on her head. The groom wears a Prangwedana open coat in black color and golden ornamented.

Sunda Putri Wedding Dress

It's a simple but beautiful and elegance wedding dress. The Bride wears a long white kebaya for upper dress. The Groom wears a Prangwedana open coat in similar color with the bride's kebaya. They both use the same type of batik fabric with a special motive is Sido Mukti or Lereng-eneng pattern for lower dress.
