Confidence in regeneration plan for Crewe!

Twelve months ago I was very sceptical about the whole Crewe Vision consultation and subsequent report/recommendations. Basically, we'd heard it all before. Now, however, it seems that Cheshire East Council is getting behind it and looks determined to drive it forward. The recruitment of a delivery executive (on a salary of around £65,000) is a serious commitment and you'd hope money well spent. It's certainly not the kind of cash to throw about in times of austerity, is it? So fingers crossed. Let's hope we start to see some action sooner rather than later...
